My BL just got stolen. I was wondering if anyone might have a used one they would like to sell?
Cheers

There is a brand new one on eBay...

Might be worth the money if you can get him charge the battery and turn it on to make sure it runs for a decent amount of time. Now sure how those batteries hold up, even new, when the have been sitting for as many years as that one probably has.

Thanks, but the price of that includes Street Atlas, which I can't use, and ships to the USA. I still have a working battery but it is the internal battery that is more of a problem. But I have got used to downloading data before the internal loses charge and data.

Maybe call them up and explain your plight, it's not like they don't know whom you are, or the services you provide.
Worth a shot.

Thanks Norm - while giving some thought to the idea it struck me that I needed to confirm a few other things with them. My current project is to develop a protocol for forest mapping from satellite imagery, for the UN forestry office. Part of the protocol is using a BL and PostPro to get sufficiently good control points to give to the Digital Globe supplier for them to orthorectify the imagery that one orders. I've done this a few times and it works superbly.

Obviously if I am going to recommend the procedure for the region I need to be certain that all the products are available and supported. Sure enough, I see that when one finally finds PostPro it is (still) listed as "not orderable". This is a leftover from some time ago when there was a lot of mis-information going around about how PP no longer worked woth CORS.
Cheers.

Thanks Buz - but I'm still concerned that these may be old units with dud or nearly bud internal batteries. Plus, one offer is $100 with all accessories, another 115 with none, and no mention in either case of their logging function linked to Post Pro. Paying the price of a new unit would mean also getting some assurance of a few days of data storage by the internal battery.
